Cemetery Battonnstraße
Initially located outside the city's wall at the time, The jewish cemetery was then located inside the city fortifications when the second fortress wall was built around Frankfurt. Today, the cemetery in Battonnstraße is one of the oldest Jewish burial grounds in Germany.
Opening Hours
Tuesday to Sunday: 10:00 to 17:00
Wednesday: 10:00 to 20:00
Closed on Monday.
The key for visiting the cemetery can be collected from the administration of the Museum Judengasse, Battonnstraße 47, upon presentation of your identity card. Contact info@juedischesmuseum.de for additional information.
