Our Community Rabbis
Because we want to live Judaism in all its facets with you, our rabbinate provides concrete personal support and offerings that suit you.
The orthodox rabbis Avichai Apel and Julian-Chaim Soussan lead the religious aspects of our community.
If you wish for a personal visit from the rabbi, please contact the rabbinate. If you require kosher food in the hospital, please inform our office.
For those interested in synagogue music and songs, there is the opportunity to join the Shlomo Reiss Synagogue Choir. The choir is looking for committed singers with a basic understanding of music who are willing to accompany the service at the Westend Synagogue. You will have the chance to perform in concerts with renowned cantors. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 8:00 PM to 8:45 PM at the youth center, Savignystrasse 66.
