Ignatz-Bubis Community Center

On September 14, 1986, the Ignatz Bubis Community Center on Savignystrasse 66 in Frankfurt's Westend was inaugurated. It is the heart and backbone of our community and is also a symbol of Jewish identity. "Whoever builds a house, wants to stay"—with these words, the architect and former board chairman, Prof. Dr. Salomon Korn, opened the community center, creating a stable foundation for the future. The building was named after the long-serving board chairman Ignatz Bubis (1927-1999) of blessed memory.
