These shops offer kosher foods


This newly opened shop in Saalburgallee in Frankfurt’s Ostend neighbourhood offers a comprehensive range of kosher foods, including various Israeli specialities, wines, fresh meats and, of course, sweets. The shop and sales are supervised by the rabbinate of the Jewish Community in Frankfurt.

Opening times:
Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
Fridays: 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Saturdays: closed
Sundays: 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Edeka Scheck-in

Also in the Ostend neighbourhood is the Edeka Scheck-in supermarket, which offers the full spectrum of products in the classic Edeka supermarket range plus kosher and seasonal products. The deep-frozen kosher meat, for instance, is stored separately from regular meat. In addition, kosher sushi is prepared once a week under the supervision of the rabbinate of Offenbach.
